New Tonometers and the New Disscussion at Intraocular Pressure Measurement: Corneal Biomechanical Properties
Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi 3. Göz Servisi, Ankara, Doç. Dr.
One of the most important issues in glaucoma management is controlling intraocular pressure (IOP). At this stage, the accuracy of the IOP before and after the treatment is very critical. Accurate measurement of IOP with the routine tonometric methods is still controversial. In this article, the new tonometers will be examined and the relationships between these new tonometric methods and corneal biomechanical properties will be discussed.
