Dr. Nowadays, trabeculectomy is standard surgery for glaucoma, but it has serious postoperative complications such as flat anterior chamber, hypotony, choroidal detachment and endophthalmitis. To avoid these complications non-penetrating glaucoma surgery was developed. Currently, viscocanalostomy and deep sclerectomy are two variations of non-penetrating surgery. Published studies to date showed that non-penetrating surgery can reduce intraocular pressure to acceptable levels with a safety profile. Non-penetrating glaucoma surgery is promising, but long learning curve is the main disadvantage. Keywords : Viscocanalostomy, deep sclerectomy, intraocular pressure
