Visual acuity was P+P+ and intraocular pressure (IOP) was 6 mmHg at the initial examination. There was a mild corneal edema and keratic striate in the cornea. The anterior chamber was shallow and dense pigmented membrane was observed on the pupillary area. Needling and subconjunctival injection of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) was performed on the patient 3 days before. The patient was found to have a toxic reaction related with 5-FU, and hospitalized for the treatment. In this article, a case with hypotonia and severe toxic reaction and complications related with needling and subconjunctival injection of 5-FU were discussed.
