However, clinical studies have demonstrated that many patients with glaucoma require multiple medications to achieve adequate control of intraocular pressure. For compliance, less toxicity of preservatives and cost effectiveness, combinations of commonly used drugs have been developed.
In this review we discuss the principles of glaucoma management and fixed combination therapy and examine the existing fixed combinations. Keywords : Glaucoma, intraocular pressure, glaucoma therapy, fixed combination therapy
